Parkes takes on new role at Channel 4 News

Rachel Parkes

Channel 4 News has appointed Rachel Parkes news editor for digital and shorts.

In her new role, Parkes will lead the Leeds digital news team and manage the documentary and shorts team that produces digital news content for news and current affairs documentaries.

Recently, she managed the documentary shorts team as a team leader and she held the posts of multimedia producer and specialist multimedia producer. She also worked at BBC Wales and ITV Wales.

Parkes has a B.A. from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree in journalism from Cardiff University.
