Sadiba Hasan is now a staff reporter on the Weddings desk at The New York Times. For the past six months, she has been a contributor on the desk.
The Times reports:
“Sadiba has already showcased her prowess by covering breaking news stories with accuracy and finesse, including her coverage of couples who tied the knot on the day of Donald Trump’s arraignment in Manhattan in April and a couple who married when the skies were orange in June.
“Her dedication to delivering quality journalism and her passion for storytelling is evident in the innovative ideas she brings to life through engaging articles, like her roundup of the top wedding songs and the growing trend of American women moving abroad in search of romance.”
Hasan also served as a news assistant, working on various desks in the newsroom. She also wrote for the Culture and Style desks. She joined in June 2021 as a business development intern in the Licensing Group.
Hasan has a B.A. in economics from Barnard College.
