Stephen Brown, metro editor at the New York Daily News, has left. Brown’s tweet reads, “It was an honor to work as Metro editor after such a fun run covering courts. I’m happy I get to stay in local news (more later) and will be a loyal NYDN reader. Long live The News!”
Previously, Brown was a Manhattan federal court reporter. He also reported for the digital breaking news team devoted to speed and accuracy. He edited for Patch.com and reported for The Brooklyn Paper.
Brown has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a master’s degree from New York University.
