NPR has tapped Deirdre Walsh as a congressional correspondent.
Recently, Walsh held the post of Congress editor.
Previously, Walsh was at CNN, where she was a producer/researcher for the network’s prime anchor Judy Woodruff. She also planned and produced “Inside Politics,” a live hour-long show, where she coordinated with correspondents from various beats.
She then served as a congressional producer and senior congressional reporter/producer.
Walsh has a B.A. from Boston College.
Be sure to congratulate Walsh on Twitter.
