Elena Moore, an assistant producer for the NPR Politics podcast, has taken on the role of political reporter to cover young and new voters.
Moore joined NPR in October 2019 as an editorial assistant on the Washington desk. Since then, she held the posts of production assistant for “Morning Edition” and “NPR Politics” podcast, and political reporter.
She interned at NBCUniversal.

Jeongyoon Han has joined as an editorial assistant, elections. She joined from the New Hampshire Public Radio, where she was a fellow.
Previously, Han was at NPR from May 2022 to September 2022 when she joined as an intern and then held the post of news assistant for the “Weekend Edition.”
Han has a B.A. from Williams College in Massachusetts, where she was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper The Williams Record.

Eric McDaniel has joined the congressional team as a reporter until Feb. 25. Recently, he served as editor of the “NPR Politics” podcast.
McDaniel has been with NPR for more than seven years, joining in May 2016 as a producer for the “Morning Edition” and “Weekend Edition.” He also served as editor of “Up First” and “Morning Edition.”
McDaniel has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Virginia.
