Emily Olson has joined NPR as a live blog editor and news writer. Olson was at nonprofit conservation organization American Forests, where she was a marketing associate and recently a senior manager – publicity and thought leadership.
She freelanced for Embarcadero Media and worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Washington, D.C. as an intern, interim supervising producer and digital journalist.
Olson has a B.A. in English language and literature from the University of the Pacific and a M.S. in journalism from the University of Oregon.
