Rachelle Blidner, a reporter covering Long Island municipal government for Newsday will leave, relocating to the Charlottesville, Va. area, according to her Twitter feed. She has also worked freelance and was previously a breaking news reporter at the New York Daily News.
Blinder interned at the Associated Press and has worked as an investigative reporter at Northwestern University’s Medill Watchdog. In addition, she has also worked at DNAInfo and The Record in Bergen. N.J., where she covered five North Jersey towns.
Blidner has a B.S. in journalism and political science from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
