Claire Malon will join the Chicago Tribune’s audience and data teams as a content editor after graduating in June from the masters program in journalism at DePaul University.
For more than three years, Malon has worked as an engagement editor at 14 East Magazine in Chicago. Before that, she served as an associate editor and contributing writer at the magazine.
She has also live-tweeted election coverage, published opinion pieces and reported long-form investigative stories for The DePaulia, DePaul’s student paper. She was also an intern at WTTW-TV Ch. 11, a PBS member station in Chicago, and Tribune Publishing.
Malon has a B.A. in journalism from DePaul.
