The Utica Oberver-Dispatch, the largest newspaper in the Utica-Rome metropolitan area of New York state, has promoted Ed Harris to Mohawk Valley and Finger Lakes local editor. Previously, he has held the posts of news reporter and copy desk editor.
Harris worked as an assignment desk editor at CBS, NBC and CW news channels. He was also an editor at The Southington Observer, an award-winning weekly newspaper in Connecticut.
Harris graduated from Central Connecticut State University.
