New York Public Radio has promoted Bahar Ostadan to NYPD and Public safety reporter. Recently, she served as an accountability reporter.
Ostadan freelanced for The New York Times, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Vogue and The Village Voice. She also worked as a real estate reporter at The New York Daily News.
Ostadan has a B.A. in international relations and economics from Tufts University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
