New Statesman promotes Gibson to executive editor, foreign

Megan Gibson

The New Statesman has tapped Megan Gibson as executive editor for foreign, leading the international team and overseeing foreign coverage across the magazine, website, newsletters, podcasts and videos.

She recently served as senior editor, international. Before that, she was a foreign editor at Monocle. She has also written for Time Magazine and was a fact-checker at The New York Times.

Gibson has a B.A. from the University of Saskatchewan and an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
