Chelsea Whyte, senior news editor at New Scientist, has taken on the role of U.S. editor. Her post on X/Twitter reads:
“So excited to be joining the team in the New York office after all these years out on the west coast!”
Since joining New Scientist in January 2017 as a science reporter, Whyte has held the posts of physics editor, U.S. reporter and assistant news editor.
Whyte has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
