The New Scientist has appointed Catherine de Lange magazine editor. She recently served as head of features.
Lange has been with the New Scientist for over 8 years, holding various roles, including coronavirus editor, deputy features editor, biomedical features editor and biomedical/environment news editor. She has also previously worked with the video production team.
She has also worked freelance and commissioned and edited print features and interviews for Nature Publishing Group in London.
Lange is a UCL graduate.
