Nebraska-based TV station appoints Searcy anchor

Kalé Searcy

Kalé Searcy, a multimedia journalist at KETV-TV Ch. 7, an ABC affiliate in Omaha, Neb., has taken over the role of anchor on the TV station’s First News weekend team.

Previously, Searcy was a multimedia journalist at News-Press & Gazette Company. She interned at KSNT-TV Ch. 27, an NBC station in Topeka, Kan.

Searcy graduated from the University of Kansas, where she was a news anchor at KUJH-TV, University of Kansas’ owned and operated station.
