Michael Traikos has joined The Hockey News in Toronto as managing editor for team sites. In his new role, he will be responsible for hiring all 34 site editors and will also oversee the editorial and content strategy.
Recently, Traikos was a sports reporter at The National Post. He is also the founder of The HockeyVerse, a podcast for all hockey enthusiasts. He has also worked as a national hockey writer at Postmedia Network.
He has also served as a crime reporter at The Toronto Star.
Traikos graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto.
