Ledyard King has been appointed a daily managing editor at the National Journal. Recently, he was at Gannett | USA Today Network, where he worked for more than 22 years.
King wrote for USA Today covering politics, based in the Washington, D.C. bureau. He also covered the federal agencies of education, interior and transportation.
He also served as assistant Washington editor.
King has a B.S. in journalism from Boston University.
