N.C.-baced Wilson Times reporter Schnittker departs for new role

Andrew Schnittker, a sports writer at The Wilson Times in North Carolina, wrote on X/Twitter:

“I’m very excited and proud to announce that, starting next week, I will be working for the Division of Academic and Student Affairs at NC State as a brand journalist and content manager.”

Previously, Schnittker was a sports editor at The Mountaineer in North Carolina.

He was also a senior writer at Canes Country, SB Nation, and wrote about North Carolina State sports for 247Sports. He was also a staff writer and then served as a sports editor at Technician in Raleigh-Durham, N.C.

He has also interned at the state’s North State Journal.

Schnittker graduated from North Carolina State University.
