MLive reporter Gibbons set to leave

Lauren Gibbons

Lauren Gibbons, a political reporter covering Michigan’s state legislature and policy issues at MLive, will be leaving to join Bridge Michigan’s, a nonprofit news site in Michigan focusing on facts, political team.

She begins on April 11.

Prior to joining MLive, she was a senate reporter at Michigan Information and Research Service. She was also an intern at The Columbus Dispatch and The Grand Rapids Press in Michigan. She has previously also worked freelance for MLive Media Group.

Gibbons graduated from Michigan State University, where she also worked at The State News, published by the university’s students.
