Metro.co.uk appoints Laughton community engagement producer

Sophie Laughton

Metro.co.uk has tapped Sophie Laughton to serve as a community engagement producer for its travel and London events weekly newsletters, The Getaway and The Slice respectively.

Recently, Laughton served as a features assistant. She joined in September 2020 as a freelance web assistant.

Laughton has a B.A. from the University of Warwick, where she wrote and edited for the student paper. She has a M.A. from City, University of London.
