Merica to join The Messenger as national political reporter

The Messenger has hired Dan Merica as a national political reporter. Recently, he held the same post at CNN.

Merica joined CNN in June 2011 as a political producer. Before that, he was a rotating editor and writer at The American Observer. He interned at NPR.

Merica has a B.A. from Bentley University in Massachusetts and a M.A. from American University.
