The Times has tapped Francesca Marshall to serve as an assistant news editor. She joined from The Telegraph, where she recently served as acting weekend news editor.
During her more than five years at The Telegraph, Marshall held the posts of content editor, news reporter, night news editor, assistant news editor and morning news editor.
She also reported for News Associates and DC Thomson.
Marshall graduated from the University of Manchester.
