Veteran BBC journalist Johnson departs

Howard Johnson

Howard Johnson of the BBC tweets, “Some personal news: With a heavy heart, I’m leaving BBC News next month. Here’s a short reel of how I went from Millbank receptionist (2004) to foreign correspondent.” The reel can be viewed here.

Johnson filmed, edited and produced digital and social media films for BBC World News.

He also commissioned, produced, reported and edited the BBC World News TV program Middle East Business Report. Recently, he held the post of Philippines correspondent.

Johnson graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London.
