Sky News has promoted news correspondent Shingi Mararike to North of England correspondent. Prior to joining Sky News, Mararike was a news reporter at The Sunday Times, where he also did his apprenticeship.
He worked at News UK, served as an editorial assistant at The Sunday Times, and was a student brand ambassador at The Independent. He also reported for The Times.
Mararike graduated from the University of Warwick.
