Matt Maddren, a senior newsdesk editor overseeing bulletin content and morning news gathering for Free Radio, Signal 1 & Greatest Hits Radio Derbyshire at Bauer Media, will join the Yorkshire team.
Maddren has been with Bauer for more than six years. He also worked as a broadcast assistant and broadcast journalist at the BBC.
Maddren has a B.A. in broadcast journalism from Nottingham Trent University.
