Sophia Lada is now a news reporter at the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus in Brighton, Mich., following a news assistant stint at the Lansing State Journal.
She worked as a writing consultant at the Michigan State University Writing Center and was a freelance contributor at The New York Times.
She also reported for Capital News Service.
Lada will graduate from Michigan State University this year.
