Labbate joins The Messenger as reporter

Mariana Labbate

The Messenger has hired Mariana Labbate as a reporter. Recently, she was an editorial assistant at Grid.

Before that, Labbate social media writer at Esquire Magazine and interned at The New York Times and The Arizona Republic via the Dow Jones News Fund.

She worked as a copy editor and community reporter at Columbia Missourian and interned at Forbes Brasil.

Labbate has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
