LA Times taps Ellis to serve as a LA County government reporter

Rebecca Ellis

Rebecca Ellis has joined the Los Angeles Times as a Los Angeles County government reporter.

Previously, Ellis covered city politics, housing, homelessness, policing and other topics for Oregon Public Broadcasting. She was also a Kroc fellow at NPR.

She covered general assignment and breaking news for the Miami Herald’s metro desk.

Ellis graduated from Brown University.
