Vincent Nguyen has joined the Los Angeles Times’ Times Community News as a multiplatform editor in Orange County.
Previously, Nguyen was a news producer at KCRW-FM 89.9, a NPR member station broadcasting from Santa Monica College. He was a news production assistant at KNX-FM 1070, a radio station in Los Angeles, and a sports reporter at the Los Angeles Times from September 2018 to May 2020. Nguyen has a B.A. in journalism from California State University, Northridge.
Eric Licas has joined as a public safety and courts reporter. Recently, Licas was at the Orange County Register, where he covered breaking news. He was a public safety reporter for Inquirer.net and a reporter/photographer for the Asian Journal. Licas graduated from California State University, Northridge.
