Webinar on reporting on inflation and the economy is next week

The Council on Foreign Relations is inviting journalists to attend a webinar on reporting on inflation and the U.S. economy.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, Sept 13, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST.

Zongyuan Zoe Liu, CFR fellow for international political economy, will discuss global factors and trends contributing to inflation in the United States, along with Justin Backover, business and policy reporter at WFMZ-TV 69 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, who will discuss framing stories on this subject for local communities.

The webinar series host is Carla Anne Robbins, adjunct senior fellow at CFR and former deputy editorial page editor at the New York Times. A question-and-answer session will follow their remarks. Please note that the webinar will be on the record.

We will send you the meeting access instructions prior to the event. This invitation is transferable but limited to print and broadcast journalists at local outlets.
