Raina Kelley has been appointed vice president and editor-in-chief of ESPN’s The Undefeated, responsible for the editorial direction and oversight of the multimedia initiative.
Kelley succeeds Kevin Merida who launched the project five years ago and has just recently been named executive editor at the Los Angeles Times.
Kelley has been at ESPN for 10 years and was recently managing editor of The Undefeated. She has also held the posts of senior editor and deputy editor at the network.
She was also with Newsweek Magazine for more than 8 years, where she worked as an associate editor and staff writer.
Kelley is a graduate of Yale University.
