Jones, reporter at The Athletic, departs

Lindsay Jones

Lindsay Jones, NFL reporter and features writer at The Athletic, has left.

Her Twitter announcement reads:

“Today is my last day at The Athletic. I’m excited about a new professional adventure I’ll tell you about soon. But for now, I just want to say: Thank you.”

Previously, she was an NFL reporter at USA Today and a beat writer who covered the Denver Broncos and the NFL for The Denver Post and was a sports writer for The Palm Beach Post.

Jones has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Emory University.
