Previously, Johnson worked as a reporter and multimedia journalist at ABC station WBAY-TV Ch. 2 in Green Bay, Wis., and as a multimedia journalist at KTRE-TV Ch. 9, an ABC- and Telemundo affiliate in Lufkin, Texas.
She interned at CBS outlet KBTX-TV Ch. 3 in Bryan, Texas.
Johnson graduated from Prairie View A&M University in Texas.
