Scott Pham, data reporter at BuzzFeed News, has decided to take a buyout from BuzzFeed News.
His last day is July 1.
His Twitter announcement reads, “A lot of amazing journalists are also leaving right now. Yet, some extremely talented people are staying. It’s hard to mourn for the BF that’s gone while rooting for the one that is. All I can say is, I’ll miss BF and everyone who was part of it.”
Previously, he was a news applications developer at The Center for Investigative Reporting. He was also a digital editor at NBC Bay Area and was a content director at KBIA-FM 91.3, an NPR member station in Columbia.
He was also an intern at NPR.
Pham has a B.A. in English from Reed College.
