HuffPost appoints Havranek head of visuals

Christy Havranek

HuffPost has promoted Christy Havranek to head of visuals to manage a team of photo editors/photographers, illustrators and art directors. Havranek will also collaborate across the newsroom to elevate visual storytelling.

Havranek has been with HuffPost for more than nine years, holding various roles, including photo operations director and most recently photo director.

In addition, she worked at Bloomsbury USA and NBCUniversal.

Havranek graduated from the School of Visual Arts.
