GB News has hired Christopher Hope as head of politics and as political editor.
Hope has served as a Telegraph journalist since 2003. He held the posts of business correspondent; Whitehall editor; senior political correspondent and assistant editor; and chief political correspondent.
He also presented “Chopper’s Politics,” the Telegraph’s weekly politics podcast.
Hope has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Bristol and a post graduate diploma in journalism from Cardiff University.
