Formula 1 has tapped Alasdair Hooper as duty editor to help manage and edit the Formula 1 website.
Previously, Hooper was a sports content editor working on the non-football sports team at Reach plc. He joined in March 2020 as a digital content lead for HertsLive, which he led from its launch that year and through the pandemic.
He also worked at Reach plc’s Essex Live as a multimedia journalist and assistant content editor.
He was also commended in the “Multimedia Story of the Year” category at the NCTJ Awards for Excellence in 2018.
Hooper graduated from the University of Dundee.
