“Good Morning America” appoints Norman co-host

Janai Norman

Janai Norman has been named co-host of ABC News’ “Good Morning America” weekend edition alongside Whit Johnson and Eva Pilgrim.

Norman joined ABC News as an intern after stints in Columbia, Mo., Tulsa, Okla. and Orlando, Fla. Previously, she reported from the Washington D.C. bureau at ABC News and was an overnight anchor for “World News Now” and “America This Morning.”

Recently, she was host of a GMA segment “Pop News.”
