Ghisolfi joins Houston Chronicle as data reporter

The Houston Chronicle has tapped Caroline Ghisolfi to serve as a data reporter. Recently, she was a data journalist at the Austin American-Statesman.

There, Ghisolfi led award-winning of the ‘Disabled & Abandoned’ investigative series exposing the crises besetting the Texas system of care for people with disabilities.

Previously, she worked as a data journalism reporter at The Associated Press and as a general assignment reporter at The Miami Herald.

She also covered local events, businesses, housing and immigration rights as a local news reporter for the San Francisco Examiner and was a general assignment reporter at The Sacramento Bee.

Ghisolfi has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Stanford University.
