Gannett paper reporter Cordero departs for Politico

Katelyn Cordero

Katelyn Cordero, an education reporter at Gannett-owned New York paper the Poughkeepsie Journal, has left to join Politico in the same role.

She is based in Albany, N.Y.

Cordero previously worked in New York as a reporter for the Mid Hudson Times, a freelance associate producer for Al Arabiya News Channel, and as a staff reporter for the Legislative Gazette.

Cordero has a B.A. from SUNY New Paltz.
