The New York Times graphics department has tapped Zach Levitt as a graphics editor, focused on cartography and data visualization. Recently, he held the same post for Opinion.
He begins his new role on June 21.
Previously, Levitt held posts at The Washington Post, NPR and the Los Angeles Times.
Levitt graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont.
