Former Washington Blade reporter Johnson debuts newsletter

Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson, chief political and White House reporter at The Washington Blade, has left and launched his newsletter “The Weekly Dystopia,” which he states will focus on the following principles:

  • America is fundamentally a good place
  • Ideological pluralism is a good thing
  • Western institutions and values are important to uphold
  • America should have a premier place in global affairs

Johnson had been with The Washington Blade for more than 14 years. Before that, he was an associate editor at Inside Washington Publishers.

Johnson has a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
