Paulina Firozi is joining the general assignment news desk at the Washington Post to cover breaking news and write enterprise stories.
Previously, Firozi was newsletter researcher and reporter for The Health 202, a daily health policy newsletter and The Energy 202, a daily energy and environmental policy newsletter at the Post.
Prior to joining the Post, Firozi was at The Hill working as a social media curator and reporter. Before that, she was Washington desk intern at NPR and also served as Washington bureau intern at USA Today.
Additionally, she has also interned at Chicago Tribune Media Group, The Washington Post and USA Today. She was also editor-in-chief of The Daily Northwestern where she managed all daily production of content in print and online for the only newspaper serving both Northwestern University and the Evanston, Ill. community.
Firozi earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
