Previously, Fawcett served as editor and then editor in chief of the open platform political blog Backbench. She also reported for Archant.
She contributed to The Indipendent and worked at ITV News.
Fawcett has a bachelor’s degree from King’s College London and a master’s degree from City, University of London.
