ELLE Magazine promotes Roy to post of digital director

Jessica Roy

Jessica Roy has been promoted to the post of digital director at ELLE Magazine. Previously, she held the post of deputy editor.

Prior to joining ELLE, Roy was a news editor at New York Magazine assigning and editing news stories about women’s issues, entertainment, politics, web culture and celebrity for TheCut.com. She was also a newsfeed editor at Time Magazine writing and editing stories for Time’s viral content vertical, Newsfeed.

Roy has also served as an editor at Betabeat and was a tech reporter at New York Observer. She has also served as a community genius at Context Optional and was editor-in-chief of NYULocal.

Roy is a B.A. in new media and journalism from New York University.
