Katie O’Malley, site editor at Elle Magazine, has taken on the role of site director. She joined in September 2019 as acting deputy digital editor.
Since then, O’Malley has held the posts of acting digital editor and deputy digital editor. Before this, she was an assistant lifestyle editor at The Independent. From June 2016 to December 2018, she held the posts of digital writer and digital news editor at Elle Magazine.
She has freelanced for The New York Times and Hello! Magazine. She interned at Bauer Media, Time, Hello! Magazine and Conde Nast.
O’Malley has a B.A. from the University of Leeds and a master’s degree in magazine journalism from City University London.
