Editor and Publisher hires media veteran Conti as general manager

Peter Conti

Editor and Publisher has named Peter Conti the new general manager for its magazine and various digital platforms.

Conti said:

“I am excited to join the E&P family. Mike Blinder and I have been friends for many years and his revitalization of the publication along with a new website, the new interactive DataBook and daily emails makes E&P the go-to information source for publishers, editors and also offers great exposure for its advertisers.”

Conti has more than 20 years of experience dealing in traditional and online business start-ups.

Previously, Conti was business development executive at Site Impact. He has also worked as digital marketing and content executive leader at Digital Media Trends and held the post of director of sales and marketing at Local Media Association.

Conti has also served as executive vice president at Borrell Associates Inc. and was director of interactive media, publishing division at Media General.

Conti earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
