Olivia Ebertz will join The Public’s Radio 89.3 FM as a metro reporter to cover diverse communities in and around Providence, R.I. She will begin in April.
Recently, Ebertz was an assistant producer at WNYC Radio and worked as a freelance documentary filmmaker.
She was also a public radio reporter and host at KYUK-FM 90.3 in Alaska.
There, she won one regional Edward R. Murrow award for “Region 1 Best Continuing Coverage.” She also won a regional Society of Professional Journalists award for “NW Region Comprehensive COVID-19 Coverage” and three Alaska Press Club awards.
Ebertz has a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College and a master’s degree from Freie Universität Berlin.
