Easterling departs USA Today Sports for new opportunity

Luke Easterling

Luke Easterling, an editor for Draft Wire and Bucs Wire at USA Today Sports Media Group, has left. His tweet reads:

“So grateful to have spent such a long time w/such an incredible team of people in the NFL Wire network. So proud of what we built, and glad the friendships will remain.

“Extremely excited for what’s next (more on that when the time comes), but for now, it’s all about gratitude for such a rare and rewarding experience w/some of the best humans I know. I’ll never stop rooting for all of you, and wouldn’t be here without you.”

Previously, Easterling was a publisher for Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Sports Illustrated. He was a featured columnist at the Bleacher Report.

He was a readers’ desk assistant and sports correspondent at The Tampa Tribune.

Easterling graduated from the University of South Florida.
