Ron DePasquale, live news senior editor at The New York Times, will join the Express desk as deputy editor. He will begin on March 1.
In his new role as the team’s late night editor in New York, Ron will help oversee breaking and trending news coverage around the clock and the globe, reports the Times.
Previously, DePasquale was a floating senior staff editor. Prior to the Times, he worked at the Associated Press, where he served as staff editor on the North America desk and global news supervisor for the AP Nerve Center.
He was a web editor at The Real Deal and held interim roles at Newsweek, the Associated Press and The San Diego Union Tribune.
DePasquale graduated from Syracuse University.
