Hakimi joins Shtetl in NYC as reporter

Lauren Hakimi

Lauren Hakimi has joined Shtetl, a soon-to-launch news outlet dedicated to serving New York’s Haredi communities, as a reporter.

Previously, Hakimi worked freelance for Bon Appetit, BuzzFeed, Salon, The Forward and City Limits. She interned at CNN and WNYC Radio.

Hakimi graduated from Hunter College in. New York City.
